Admin Moderators, Admin Support,
and Other Friendly Players
These are the Good Guys! Like any online community, there are good people (and some bad) playing Carom3D. Knowing who will help is important to enjoy the game, and we don't want you to become discouraged if you encounter bad behavior. Carom3D has volunteer players who monitor behavior in all areas of the game. In addition, you will find many regular players who are willing to help.
Admin Guild - The Senior Team
These moderators monitor the behavior in Carom3D, train and advise Admin Support (see below), and gather or judge evidence from different forums to decide if a player is banned. Their primary goal is being servants to the players by keeping the Carom3D community fun and friendly for all. Much of their work is behind the scenes, so they may not be as visible as Admin Support. Always look for Admin Support first when you need help.
Note: All admin have "other" ID's for playing, so they may be in the lobby in disguise, or an admin could be your opponent in a game! Use the command /whereg adminguild to find them online if you cannot locate a member of Admin Support.
Admin Support Guild - Team # 1
This group of admin volunteers assists the mods by helping players and answering questions, or locating a mod for more serious situations. Members are chosen from experienced players with proven records for good behavior and willingness to help. The Admin Support members may eventually be chosen to join the Admin Guild.
Find them using the command /whereg adminsupport.
Keep in mind that Admin members are all volunteers with regular jobs, so they can't be here all the time. If you cannot locate an admin player, try getting help in the lobby.
Friendly Players - Easy to Find
Make friends in the lobby, or just sit and watch the chat. Before long you will realize that there are many more friendly people willing to help. See how they chat to know who to ask for help, or just type "Hey, I'm new. Can someone help and answer a question?"
What can YOU do? If our web site has helped you, and you see a new player asking for help and no one answers, use the /whereg adminsupport or /whereg adminguild command to find some help. If no admin is online, perhaps the answer is here or on the Carom3D web site!
